At the request of the authorities of the Republic of Albania, the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) has engaged a specialized Search and Rescue contingent from the Civil Protection Regiment of the National Guard, which joined the operation in the Klos area to search for a missing person in the Mat River.
The KSF announces that after intensive engagement and close cooperation with the Albanian authorities, search and rescue teams managed to locate and find the body of the missing person.
"The Commander of the KSF, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, on his personal behalf and on behalf of all KSF personnel, expresses his most sincere condolences to the family and relatives of the victim. Also, the Commander of the KSF thanks the engaged personnel for the dedication, professionalism and discipline shown during the fulfillment of this mission," the announcement states.
