"Mirlind Daku is not for sale cheaply, there is interest from Spain and Italy" - Rubin Kazan president talks about the striker's future

Rubin Kazan president Marat Safiullin has confirmed that the club has no intention of selling Albanian national team striker Mirlind Daku for free, who has sparked interest from several European clubs.

The striker has shown great form since joining the Russian club, increasing his value.

"Daku has one more year of contract with us. There are concrete offers to buy him, but his price is high." "Almost all of our players have gained value on the market, including Mirlind Daku."

"Clubs from Spain and Italy are following him closely," Safiullin told "Business Online".

Daku joined Rubin Kazan in July 2023 and has since made 58 appearances, scoring 21 goals and providing 12 assists.

He has a contract valid until June 2026, while his current value on the transfer market is estimated at around 7 million euros. /telegraph/
