On Wednesday, the new Government of the Republic of Kosovo was elected, in which I was entrusted with the task of Minister of Digitalization and Public Administration. And yesterday I officially accepted this responsibility, opening a new chapter of my engagement in public service within the Kurti 3 Government.
I feel deeply honored and grateful for the trust of Prime Minister Albin Kurti to lead this important portfolio for our country. There is no greater honor than to serve the Republic and its citizens. I take on this responsibility with full dedication and determination to put every experience and professional knowledge to work for this mission.
I highly appreciate the work of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, and Deputy Minister Bardhyl Dobra, who also led the public administration portfolio within the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the previous mandate. In the Kurti 2 Government, important reforms have been undertaken towards a more meritocratic, more transparent and more open administration for all. We have also taken important steps in the digitalization of many public services and in strengthening the key pillars of digital transformation, making this process more sustainable, more inclusive and safer.
With the establishment of a dedicated Ministry for Digitalization and Public Administration, we are entering a new phase of institutional development. This reorganization will enable us to achieve greater focus, better coordination, and deepen reforms at an accelerated pace and with increased efficiency.
Our goal is for public services to be simpler and faster for citizens, for the administration to be as professional and accountable as possible, while digitalization serves as the foundation of a modern, functional state that is closer to the citizen. /Telegraph/
