Minimum wage increase of over 500 euros and 100 million euros for essential medicines – Kurti reveals plans for the future

Prime Minister Albin Kurti said at today's government meeting that the government he has led for four years "has achieved extraordinary results."

Kurti mentioned the increase in pensions and allowances for mothers and children.

He also mentioned the increase in salaries in the public sector, and the increase in the minimum wage in the private sector, which he said will increase by over 500 euros in the next mandate.

"We have increased pensions by over 300 thousand pensioners, they have increased by 20%, in addition to the regular increase, everyone has received a supplement of 100 euros five times during our mandate. Around 70 thousand mothers have received supplements from the state for the first time, as have over 400 thousand children. For children, we have doubled and tripled the supplements. We have increased the salary in the public sector three times, in the private sector the minimum wage twice. From 130-170 we have found it to 265 euros and from 265 to 350 euros. In the next mandate, we will increase it again to over 500 euros", said Kurti.
