Milan's technical director says they are ready to sell two top stars

Milan technical director Geoffrey Moncada has left open the possibility of selling two French players, Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan.

If the pair do not reach an agreement to renew their contracts, then they will be sold in the summer transfer window, according to Moncada in an interview with DAZN.

The French duo's current contracts expire in 2026 and Milan do not intend to keep them in the team until the final year of their contracts without a new deal.

"We can't let them leave as free transfers. We've worked hard and it seems the players are happy with us," Moncada emphasized.

Most recently, Hernandez has faced harsh criticism after being sent off in Milan's Champions League match against Feyenoord, where the Italian team was eliminated with a 2-1 aggregate score after two encounters.

The French defender joined Milan from Real Madrid, while Mike Maignan transferred from French side Lille. /Telegraph/
