Mickoski on the Koçani case: The government will do everything to ease the pain of the families, they will receive financial assistance

Asked about the request of several families of victims at the "Pulse" discotheque, such as a one-time financial aid and the establishment of an Investigative Commission in Parliament, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said that "there is absolutely no doubt that the Government has done, is doing and will do everything necessary to alleviate the pain."
Mickoski, in response to a journalist's question, emphasized that the families' pain is great and immeasurable.
"Regarding support for the Investigative Committee, I think it's a question you should ask the MPs. I think this kind of confrontation with the public will happen very soon when the court process begins. There we will all be able to follow what happened," the Prime Minister said.
MPs will decide whether to initiate an oversight hearing and an investigative committee into the Pulse nightclub fire. The initiative came at the suggestion of the victims' families, who at the March of Angels demanded that the issue be clarified in Parliament.
The ruling party OBRM-PDUKM has so far not taken any position and warns against politicizing the tragedy, while SDSM unofficially announces support for internal coordination.
The Criminal Court announced maximum efforts for a fair and efficient trial. Proceedings begin on Wednesday, with 37 accused of serious crimes against public security./Telegraph/
