The mayor of Chair from the VLEN coalition, Izet Mexhiti, said that the Democratic Union for Integration is moving towards the PDP, since as he said, the same party does not accept reforms.

"DUI is going the way of the PDP, I worked for 7 years to reform it, but they had no 'ears' to listen. I think it's too late, I think that after this deep defeat, the AKI will not have longevity. After November 2, this entity will collapse. While DUI is heading towards the phenomenon of the PDP in free fall", said Mexhiti on TV21.

Mexhiti has clarified that this stance is not an emotional reaction, but the result of a long process of efforts for internal reform, which did not find understanding within the DUI.

"I have struggled for seven years with internal battles, with principled and principled struggles. We started as the 'Fire Group' precisely because it is not normal for everyone within a subject to think the same way, without debate, without criticism. I tried everything to avoid division, but when all options were exhausted, I left," said Mexhiti.
