One of the leaders of VLEN, Izet Mexhiti, told reporters today that he supports Bilall and Kasami's decision to merge the structures of the Besa Movement into VLEN, writes Telegraph Macedonia.

"The issue of the Assembly last night, the merger of bodies, with the aim of moving towards the fission of VLEN, I welcome and strongly support it. So, as I have stated in the media, we are working together for the merger into a party, as it is a request of the Albanian electorate," said Mexhiti.

Regarding the issue of Fatmir Limani, Mexhiti said that this is an issue within Besa and I believe that they have the capacity to overcome it together and move forward together.

He said that the coalition is currently not focused on personal names for VLEN leaders, but is focused on forming the platform and structures.

Mexhiti said that the idea of a party with two leaders is still being debated, as the democratic world also recognizes this, and as an example we have the Guxo Movement in Kosovo.

Regarding the proposed law on higher education, Mexhiti said that we have engaged experts from our universities, it is being debated, we are also in contact with Minister Vesna Janevska, but it should be noted that this law will pass with a bang.

But as Mexhiti said, the law essentially aims to increase quality in higher education without discriminating against any university./Telegraph/
