Meta continues "expanding Artificial Intelligence", buys a startup from Singapore for over 2 billion dollars

Meta Platforms has acquired Manus, a Singapore-based developer of general Artificial Intelligence agents, expanding its investments in AI.
Manus, originally founded in China and later relocated to Singapore, launched its first general agent this year, capable of performing complex tasks such as market research, coding and data analysis.
The company claims to have achieved annual total revenue of over $100 million just eight months after launch, while the revenue pace now exceeds $125 million.
According to Wall Street Journal, the deal was closed with a value of over 2 billion dollars, although Meta has not revealed official figures.
Manus will continue to operate its subscription services without changes, while Meta aims to integrate the technology into its products for businesses and consumers, including Meta AI.
Manus CEO Xiao Hong said the merger with Meta provides a "stronger and more stable" foundation for the company's further global development. /Telegraph/
