Mërgim Berisha, unable to find his form – injury leaves him out for a month
Kosovar striker, Mërgim Berisha, has yet to find his form, as he has been injured again and will be out of action for another four weeks due to a serious injury.
According to the latest medical report, the injury has also affected his tendon. Berisha is expected to return to the field at the end of March, the German Augsburger Allgemeine reported.
Augsburg coach Jess Thorup expressed his regret over the situation.
"I feel very sorry for the Exile and the team," Thorup told the German newspaper.
Berisha was loaned from Hoffenheim in January, but has yet to play a match with Augsburg.
"We were convinced that Exile could help quickly. Now the players we have available must take responsibility," Thorup underlined.
In addition to Berisha, Augsburg also plays with Kosovo midfielder Elvis Rexhbeçaj./Telegraph/
