Medvedev threatens Sweden and Finland: Now we can attack you with nuclear weapons

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has stated that Sweden and Finland have become legitimate targets for nuclear attacks by Russia after their membership in NATO.

He stressed that these countries, by joining a "hostile alliance", have renounced their neutrality and become military targets for Russia.

Medvedev stated that, as part of NATO, these countries are automatically targeted by Russian armed forces, including possible nuclear and preemptive strikes, writes reuters.

Finland joined NATO in April 2023, while Sweden in March 2024, expanding the alliance's border with Russia by over 1300 km.

At the same time, Russia has begun building new military infrastructure along the border with Finland and has formed the "Leningrad Military District."

According to Finnish authorities, Russia has launched hybrid attacks, sending migrants to the border to destabilize Finland and the European Union. /Telegraph/
