The Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, has announced that the Extraordinary Assembly of the International Committee of the Mediterranean Games (ICMG) approved the presentation of the proposal and the continuation of the procedures for organizing the Pristina 2030 Mediterranean Games.

Rama described this decision as an important achievement for the capital and all of Kosovo, emphasizing that Pristina "is moving confidently towards 2030, with a clear vision, a structured plan and the energy of a generation that believes it can write history."

According to him, the Mediterranean Games go beyond sports – they mean urban development, modern infrastructure, new opportunities for youth and an important platform to present Pristina on the international stage.

Rama expressed gratitude to the Kosovo Olympic Committee, the capital's administration, and the Government of Kosovo for their support and cooperation in this process.

He also thanked the Government of Albania and the Albanian Olympic Committee for enabling access to the sea, describing this as an example of cooperation that strengthens the Mediterranean dimension of the project.

"Together we can always do more and better. The great work has just begun and we will do it together," declared Rama.Telegraph/
