Manchester United appear to be close to securing the services of Wolverhampton Wanderers star Matheus Cunha.
According to Sky Sports, the Brazilian has accepted a transfer to Old Trafford and is ready to agree personal terms with the Red Devils.
Ruben Amorim has given the green light to the deal, seeing Cunha as "perfect" for the Man United project.
Cunha's impressive statistics have caught the eye of Amorimi, with the 25-year-old scoring 33 goals and providing 15 assists in 90 appearances for Wolves.
This season alone, he has scored 17 times and provided six assists in 34 games in all competitions.
Man United are expected to activate Cunha's €74m release clause, with Wolves open to accepting payments in instalments.
The deal is expected to be finalized soon, potentially making Cunha available for Man United's pre-season tour of the United States.
Ipswich striker Liam Delap remains another target for Man United, and the club are continuing their pursuit, but Cunha's transfer is said to be a priority.Telegraph/
