Man aims for world record with Halloween decorations

A Kentucky man with an interesting annual tradition is now trying to break a Guinness World Record with his latest Halloween decoration.
The Cold Spring resident, who called himself Halloween Herm, has decorated his home on Village Green Drive for Halloween for decades, and in recent years has called the display "Deadsprings Cemetery."
He said his tradition began as a tribute to his mother, whose Halloween displays were always the talk of the town when he was a child.
"We lost her in 1999 to cancer, so the day she passed away, August 18, is the day they start to be put in her memory," said Halloween Herm.
Halloween Herm said he is in the process of applying to the Guinness Book of World Records to have his Halloween show entered into the record books. /Telegraph/
