Maliqi: PDK and LDK are blaming each other for a possible coalition with Kurti

Publicist Shkëlzen Maliqi has said that the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) are trying to shift responsibility for a possible coalition with Prime Minister Albin Kurti to each other, especially the LDK.

"Abdixhiku is not saying it, you do it because this will save me and my party. Now, even the LDK has these internal cracks," declared Maliqi.

According to him, PDK seems more stable and has been calmer during the campaign, but even it cannot get Kosovo out of the current situation.

However, he sees this party's willingness for dialogue as positive.

"But the most positive thing is that he's saying OK, let's sit down and talk," he said in an interview for the FIVE show on RTV Dukagjini.

Maliqi also emphasized that the biggest division within the LDK came as a result of its cooperation with the PDK.

"They have governed two or three times, sometimes it has been better, sometimes worse, but it has worked. This has especially damaged the LDK several times and their split has been due to cooperation with the PDK and Hashim Thaçi," he concluded.
