The Acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, accompanied by the Acting Deputy Minister, Shemsi Syla, and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense, Gafurr Dugolli, received in a meeting the Federal Chancellor and Minister of Defense, Civil Protection and Sport of Switzerland, Martin Pfister, accompanied by his delegation.
Minister Macedonci emphasized the key role of our diaspora in Switzerland as a bridge between the two countries, contributing to the strengthening of bilateral relations and the development of our country.
"The meeting discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of military training and education - an important step towards increasing the defense capacities of the Kosovo Security Force," the Ministry of Defense announced.
Also, Minister Macedonci informed his Swiss counterpart about the achievements of the KSF over the years and emphasized the strategic importance of Kosovo's membership in the European Union and NATO, as a guarantee for sustainable stability in the Western Balkans region.
The two ministers agreed to deepen cooperation in areas of common interest, confirming their mutual commitment to a more secure and sustainable future. /Telegraph/
