The Vice President of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lutfi Haziri, said that the party leader acted in full accordance with the party's statute.
"Lumir Abdixhiku resigned on December 28. The LDK statute recognizes the act of resignation as a personal act and Lumi in this case knows what he did. He came out and took responsibility and acted in the spirit of the LDK statute," said Lutfi Haziri on RTV Dukagjini.
Haziri described MP Hykmete Bajrami's resignation from the position of deputy speaker as her personal position. Haziri also spoke about his relationship with LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku.
"I am the vice president of the LDK and I was Lumir Abdixhiku's opponent. Consequently, I did not vote for Lumir Abdixhiku in that Assembly. The difference in votes was not great, but we extended our hand to each other and we never showed our differences," Haziri said, among other things.
