Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) MP Jehona Lushaku Sadriu has commented on the situation created in the Kosovo Assembly following the bomb alert, describing it as worrying for all citizens of the country.

Before the start of the 42nd constitutive session of the Assembly, Sadriu said that although the incident has raised tensions, she continues to feel safe and stressed the importance of institutions guaranteeing maximum security.

"No, we were worried like all citizens of Kosovo. I really hope it doesn't happen again. We call on LVV to respect the order, the Constitutional Court has said that and we hope that this will happen," she told the media.

Sadriu also stressed that the state must ensure that institutions function normally and without threats: "I hope the police have clarified it. It is important that the state guarantees that its institutions hold both sessions and meetings and have full security. I feel absolutely safe."

The LDK MP concluded by confirming that they are present at the session to vote on the proposal for the new Speaker of the Assembly and hope that this will be realized.

We remind you that today's session, which was scheduled to be held at 11:00, has been postponed to 20:00, following a bomb alarm that turned out to be false.
