Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) MP Jehona Lushaku-Sadriu, after the failure of the Assembly's constitutive session, said that the Constitution of Kosovo was violated today.
She requested that LVV reflect and proceed with the agenda as previously determined.
According to her, LDK does not participate in an anti-constitutional committee vote.
Lushaku-Sadriu described VV as irresponsible, emphasizing that it is ignoring not only the basic rules of democracy, but also the decision of the Constitutional Court.
"The constitutional order and democracy of Kosovo, built with great effort by all of us, can be violated by a political group that is irresponsible, does not respect the elementary aspect of the Constitution and, most recently, this decision of the Constitutional Court. We will behave as parties that want a democratic country behave, respecting the decisions of the Constitutional Court. Each institution, including the Presidency, has its own responsibilities to take political actions that would contribute to the fulfillment of the decision of the Constitutional Court," she said.
