Lushaku-Sadriu: The largest party is unwilling to hand over even executive power

Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) MP Jehona Lushaku Sadriu stated that the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, does not want to hand over executive power.
She said that the same person does not want to be subject to either the Constitution or the laws in force.
Before the start of the constitutive session, MP Lushaku-Sadriu said that the largest party is taking hostage the institutions of Kosovo.
"The largest party is unwilling to hand over executive power, while simultaneously exercising both functions. This is a hostage-taking of Kosovo's institutions, at a very high cost for the citizens of Kosovo and for Kosovo itself," she declared, reports KP.
Regarding Kurti's statements that he has the votes to vote for the government, she said that he does not want to hand over powers.
"This is the problem that Kurti has, he does not want to give the executive, to hand over his powers. And this is a very big problem. When you are led by a man who does not want to submit to either the Constitution or the laws in force.
"This is a problem in itself and I am very sorry that we have come to this position with a leader of the largest party who does not understand the basic functioning of democracy," said Lushaku Sadriu.
