London Luton Airport is closed due to a fire in the parking building - the building partially collapses

Luton Airport in London has been closed today after a fire broke out in the multi-storey car park, which partially collapsed as a result of the fire.

Firefighter teams are doing their best to locate the fire that broke out last night, and it seems to have destroyed hundreds of cars, Telegrafi reports.

Flights were suspended until 22:00 on Tuesday, and will likely continue until this afternoon, the airport said.

Four firefighters and a number of airport staff were taken to hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.

In the videos published on social networks, fire and smoke can be seen in the new building that serves as a parking lot at the London airport.

"All flights are suspended until 12 noon. Passengers are advised not to travel to this airport until then," Luton said, among other things. /Telegraph/
