Liverpool willing to transfer the French striker after giving the green light for the sale of Nunez

Liverpool have reportedly expressed their willingness to sell Dara Nunez during the January transfer window and have already decided who is his ideal replacement.

Since joining them from Benfica in 2022 for €85 million, Nunez has failed to give his best at Liverpool and has already lost his minutes under new manager Arne Slott.

Despite starting most of the games early in the season, he was later benched in favor of Diogo Jotas and is now being kept out of the lineup by Colombian Luis Diaz.

Now it seems that Liverpool have decided to part ways with the Uruguayan and are reportedly willing to accept an offer for him and replace him with another.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, Liverpool would consider selling Nunez in the event of an offer from Milan, who are said to have expressed an interest in him.

And should Liverpool part ways with him, they have already made French striker Marcus Thuram their top target for the position.

Another name on the list is Alexander Isak, who is greatly admired by the club's leaders, but his price may be too high.

Meanwhile, Thuram's current contract with Inter includes a release clause of €85m, much cheaper than a potential deal for Isak./Telegraph/
