Liverpool can still make money from Trent Alexander-Arnold thanks to new transfer rules
Real Madrid are considering a move for Trent Alexander-Arnold in June so he can play in the Club World Cup.
A short transfer window from June 1 to June 10 allows clubs to make transfers or extend contracts with current players.
Madrid are keen for Trent to feature in the tournament, but Liverpool's approval is required - something easier said than done.
Furthermore, La Liga and the Premier League must sanction the transfer.
Since his contract expires on June 30, Real Madrid will have to pay a fee to terminate it early.
Club president Florentino Perez is confident he will secure the right-back's participation, meaning Liverpool could still get money for his departure.Telegraph/
