Liverpool fear losing Ibrahima Konate to Real Madrid for free, just like Alexander-Arnold
English club Liverpool are reportedly seeing similar signs to those they noticed in Trent Alexander-Arnold, who decided to leave as a free agent this summer.
The Reds are worried they could lose another key player on a free transfer, also to Real Madrid.
According to Jose Felix Diaz, it concerns defender Ibrahima Konate and Liverpool are not happy with the situation.
They have begun to block Alexander-Arnold's plans to join Los Blancos for the Club World Cup and the reason is not financial.
"They are afraid of losing another important player for free to Real Madrid. It is a matter of pride, not money," the report says.
There has been no official statement from Liverpool or any of the players, but concern is growing behind the scenes. /Telegraph/
