Lithuanian authorities have banned Vucic from flying to Moscow via their country.

Lithuanian authorities have officially banned the flight of a Serbian plane to Moscow, which was carrying Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Novosti reports.

According to Lithuanian authorities, the flight of the plane carrying Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić was stopped due to, as they say, "technical and diplomatic sensitivity", reports the Telegraph.

Otherwise, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico was banned from flying over Poland and Lithuania, all in an attempt to prevent him from participating in the 80th anniversary of the victory over Nazism.

The Russian leader's aide, Yuri Ushakov, said earlier today that Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold bilateral talks with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on May 9. /Telegraph/
