Lirjon Abdullahu expressed his happiness over Kosovo's victory over Iceland in the Nations League play-offs.
Despite not being able to make his debut with the Dardanelles, the 16-year-old, in a statement to Telegrafi, said after the match that he hopes to make it on Sunday in the return match.
"I didn't expect Kosovo's invitation at all, as I'm very young," Abdullahu initially said.
"I'm very happy with this victory, I'm proud of all the players."
"I hope to have the chance to debut on Sunday, but then there are the friendly matches and I can play there," the 16-year-old talent added.
On Sunday (March 23), Kosovo plays the return match against Iceland, valid for promotion to League B. /Telegraph/
