Lip-reading expert reveals what Arne Slot really said to Michael Oliver before red card

A professional lip reader has revealed what Arne Slot said to match officials during his outburst that led to his red card after the Everton-Liverpool match.

Everton and Liverpool played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in the latest Merseyside derby that took place at Goodison Park.

James Tarkowski scored the final equalizer to earn his team a point against the Slot team.

A pitch invasion ensued before a VAR review allowed the goal to stand.

After the final whistle, Michael Oliver sent off Abdoulaye Doucoure and Curtis Jones after their clash.

He also gave a red card to Slot and his assistant Sipke Hulshoff, both of whom had fiery outbursts of emotion.

New angles revealed the Dutchman's flare-up with the match officials, apparently explaining the reason for the red card.

Professional lip reader Jeremy Freeman has revealed to SPORTbible what Slot allegedly said to officials during his post-match outburst.

"Isn't this a push? It's a disgrace... if you go and look again, you'll prove it," Slot shouted to an assistant to Judge Oliver.

Just before shaking hands with Oliver, he sarcastically said to the referee: "Excellent game."

After the red card, the Liverpool manager added: "Sure, give me a red card for that? I'll check it later... and you? Sure, give me a red card... we'll talk later?"

Slot will be banned from being on the bench for Liverpool against Wolves on Sunday. /Telegraph/
