AAK MP Daut Haradinaj has leveled harsh accusations against the acting Prime Minister and leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, accusing him of "political abuse" with Albulena Haxhiu's candidacy for Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly.
Haradinaj, in an appearance on the "Debat Plus" show, said that Kurti is using Haxhiu's name to test support in the Assembly, placing her in an inappropriate position after several failures to elect her as speaker.
"If someone is insulting Albulena Haxhiu, they are insulting Mr. Kurti. He is saying 'I have them for the government, but not for Albulena' 20 times... She is a victim of Mr. Kurti, because he is extremely abusing her name," Haradinaj declared.
Further, Haradinaj also reacted to Kurti's comments regarding the return of Fatmir Limaj to the Assembly.
Kurti had said that without the Initiative, AAK would not have crossed the electoral threshold.
According to Haradinaj, this statement is a form of "servility" towards Limaj, ironizing the past clashes between them.
"The Prime Minister is terrorizing society with 20 sessions, knowing the epilogue. When the country is in crisis, he comes out like a fortune teller and tells us who helped whom. This is servility towards Limaj after 20 years of insults and accusations," said Haradinaj.
The AAK MP called on Kurti to focus on his responsibilities as prime minister and political leader, instead of engaging in political calculations that, according to him, are damaging the institutional life of the country.Telegraph/
