The chairman of the Social Democratic Initiative of Kosovo confirmed today that his party will participate in the December 28 elections with a list of 110 candidates for deputies.

In a press conference, he said that despite numerous efforts for political unification with the PDK, this process has not been finalized.

"As I have promised hundreds of collaborators, we will try until the last seconds to offer an opportunity for unity that gives hope for change. Unfortunately, that unity that you citizens expected, and that we offered unconditionally, did not happen. The reason is now known to me," Limaj declared.

He stressed that the unification process will be returned to "the grassroots".

Limaj said that the political union with the PDK will be concretized in the Kosovo Assembly, through the unification of parliamentary groups.

The Chairman of the Social Democratic Initiative said that if his party crosses the threshold, which he is convinced will happen, then a merger with the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party of Kosovo will be achieved in the Kosovo Parliament.

"No one is stopping us from joining Parliament," Limaj said. /Telegrafi/
