Lewandowski makes Champions League history, joins the elite of Messi, Benzema and Ronaldo

Robert Lewandowski has set another major Champions League record. The Polish striker has scored at least one goal in 15 consecutive seasons, a feat that places him among the greatest names in the competition's history.
With this impressive series, the Barcelona star leaves behind many legends and comes close only to Lionel Messi, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo, confirming his continuity at the highest European level.
Lionel Messi holds the record for scoring in the Champions League for 18 consecutive seasons. The Argentine achieved this streak from the 2005/06 season to the 2022/23 season, mainly with Barcelona. Exceptional consistency, decisive goals and a direct impact at every stage of the competition.
Karim Benzema shares the same record with Messi, also 18 consecutive seasons with a goal in the 'Champions'. The Frenchman became the absolute leader of Real Madrid after the departure of Ronaldo, culminating in the historic seasons that led him to the "Ballon d'Or".

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored in 16 consecutive seasons, from 2006/07 to 2021/22. The Portuguese remains the top scorer in the history of the competition, a symbol of big European nights and knockout matches.
Lewandowski started this journey in the 2011/12 season and has not stopped since. Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and now Barcelona – everywhere he has left his mark. His goals have come at crucial moments, often carrying the fate of his teams on his shoulders.
At 36, the Pole continues to defy time. His form, instincts and efficiency in front of goal remain unchanged, proving why he is considered one of the most complete strikers of the modern era. /Telegraph/
