Lawyer Fehmije Gashi-Bytyqi has commented on the testimony of former NATO general Wesley Clark in The Hague, describing it as a historic moment for international processes and for Kosovo itself.

She emphasized that Clark "did not land in The Hague with an army, but with the truth," recalling his key role in collaborating with Hashim Thaçi and other KLA leaders during the war.

"Today he landed in The Hague not with an army, but with the truth he carries with him, since he was the main actor in cooperation with, in this case, Hashim Thaçi and other leaders. The leaders of the KLA fought for our liberation," she said.

Gashi-Bytyqi highly appreciated the historical weight of Clark's testimony:

"His statement today was... I consider that in the history of International Tribunals or international criminal trials, I don't believe that a person with such world-class weight, such as General Wesley Clark, has testified like today."

She added that his testimony will also go down in Kosovo's history, as Clark presented a comprehensive picture of international support for the people of Kosovo:

"This testimony of his will also go down in the history of Kosovo, because as you have seen from the beginning... he describes a chronology from when they made the project to support, sustain and protect the people of Kosovo," the lawyer declared. /Tv Dukagjini
