Kosovar judoka Laura Fazliu has won the silver medal in the final of the Judo Grand Prix Linz tournament being held in Linz.
In the up to 63 kilogram category, Fazliu showed excellent form throughout the competition, successfully overcoming several tough matches until the decisive phase of the tournament.
In the first match, Laura defeated Slovenian Leila Mazouzi, while in the quarterfinals, she triumphed over Croatian Nina Cvjetko, thus securing passage to the semifinals of this prestigious judo competition.
In the semifinals, Laura was better than Germany's Sara-Joy Bauer, whom she defeated by ippon, to secure the grand final.
