Last night in Belgrade, students who were blocking faculties were attacked, six of them ended up in the emergency room

Seven students, who blocked the Faculty of Law in Belgrade overnight, were injured in three incidents caused by unknown persons, according to the Instagram profile, Students in the Blockade.

As they said, the attackers threw glass and plastic bottles at the students, reports the Telegraph.

"A student was pushed down the stairs and fell on her head and then, along with five other students from the Faculty of Law, was transported by ambulance to the hospital to receive first aid," the students wrote.

At the end of the incident, unknown persons arrived in vehicles to remove evidence from the Faculty of Law. The students were slightly injured.

"According to what we saw, in the part of the work we do, they were not visibly injured. They had no visible injuries. There were seven in total," said the emergency physician in charge.

The students demand that the people who attacked their colleagues be found, identified, and prosecuted.

The video posted on the same Instagram profile shows that police have arrested a person who is suspected of participating in the attack on the students.

"According to the information we currently have from witnesses, only one person has been arrested out of the six suspects who participated in tonight's attack on students," the students wrote in X. /Telegrafi/
