The Head of the Parliamentary Group of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Arbërie Nagavci, has welcomed the decision of the Constitutional Court to impose a temporary measure against the presidential decree to dissolve the Parliament.

Through a reaction on Facebook, Nagavci said that he believes that the request submitted by the MPs of this party is fair and based on constitutional arguments, while he expects a professional treatment from the Court.

She emphasized that the request submitted to the Constitutional Court requested that the presidential decree dissolving the Tenth Legislature of the Assembly be annulled.

"We expect the Court to issue a judgment annulling Decree No. 24/2026, dated 06.03.2026, of the President on the dissolution of the Tenth Legislature of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo," Nagavci wrote.

According to her, another request is for the Court to order the members of the Assembly to continue their efforts to elect a new president within the constitutional deadline of 60 days from the issuance of the judgment.

Nagavci assessed that the Constitutional Court's decision is essential for respecting the constitutional order, the democratic functioning of institutions and guaranteeing institutional stability in the country.Telegrafi/
