LVV starts party in Pristina, after Kurti declared victory in the elections

The Vetevendosje Movement (LVV) has started the celebration in the capital, as preliminary results place it as the leading political force in the country.

The candidate for prime minister from the Vetevendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, has declared that his party, along with the "Guxo" and "Alternativa" coalitions, are the winners of the last elections.

At a rally with supporters in "Skënderbeu" Square in Pristina, Kurti praised the election process as democratic and peaceful, thanking the authorities for the organization.

"The electoral process was democratic, without incidents. I thank the police and the responsible institutions for their commitment. This is what happens when we are the government, elections are held freely and fairly," he stressed.

Kurti also harshly criticized the opposition, accusing it of collaborating with oligarchs and attempting to obstruct the government.

He stated that despite these efforts, the opposition has failed to gain the trust of citizens.

"Never has there been more war against a government than against ours. With oligarchs who give money without accounting and with an opposition that makes deals even with the devil against us. But they have lost again and will remain the opposition, because they do not want the best for either the state or the people," Kurti declared.

The official election results are expected to be confirmed by the CEC in the coming days.

Meanwhile, the vote counting process is continuing, while the Central Election Commission has confirmed that due to a technical problem with the electronic platform, the results are being collected manually from polling stations.
