Nagavci: The opposition is preventing the election of the president in order to send the country to elections

The Vetëvendosje Movement has accused the opposition parties, as they said, of the failure to elect the country's president.
Albin Kurti's party, after the interruption of the session to elect the president, said that they would address the Constitutional Court, while also requesting the imposition of a temporary measure.
The head of the LVV Parliamentary Group, Arbërie Nagavci, said that the absence of PDK, LDK and AAK deputies is evidence of their tendency to prevent the election of the president and send the country to early elections.
"This approach demonstrates the tendency of these two parties to make it impossible to elect the president and send the country to elections," she said.
Nagavci said that they will address the Constitutional Court, as he said, for the non-presence of opposition party deputies in the plenary session for the election of the president.
"We will address the Constitutional Court now. We will ask the Constitutional Court to take action and in this case we call for this request of ours to be reviewed as a priority. We believe that the deputies who did not participate in the vote and prevented a quorum have committed a constitutional violation," she added.
