LDK reconfirms that it will not participate in today's meeting of the Assembly presidency

Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) MP Jehona Lushaku Sadriu has reiterated her stance of non-participation in the meeting called by the Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly, Dimal Basha.
"Many sessions that were declared unconstitutional by the Constitutional Court were announced by us. In this spirit, the last session was also held, which ended without the chairmanship being completed. We will not participate in the meeting called by the speaker of the assembly," she added, KosovaPress reports.
She called the voting for Emilija Rexhepi as vice president a "technical error".
"We will see the phases of how we will act. We call on all political parties to return to constitutional actions," she added.
Recall, Dimal Basha was elected chairman from Vetëvendosje, but not the five-member leadership. Albulena Haxhiu – Vetëvendosje, Vlora Çitaku PDK, Kujtim Shala LDK and Emilja Rexhepi from non-Serb majority communities were elected as vice-chairmen.
After the fifth vice-president from the Serbian community was not elected, Dimal Basha said on Saturday that all options have been exhausted, calling the constitutive session closed. /KP/
