LDK in Prizren supports the Prosecution in the fight against corruption, demands action in other cases as well

The LDK branch in Prizren has evaluated the indictment filed by the Basic Prosecution Office of Prizren for the criminal offenses of abuse of official duty and fraud in public procurement.

This political entity, through a public reaction, has condemned the abuse of official position and the waste of public money.

"LDK in Prizren welcomes the news of concrete actions by the Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren against several public officials and a responsible person of a company, in connection with suspected corrupt acts. LDK in Prizren strongly condemns any form of abuse of official position, misuse of public money and any action that undermines citizens' trust in our institutions," the reaction states, reports Telegrafi.

At the same time, he has requested action on other cases as well.

"We reiterate our unwavering stance for an uncompromising fight against corruption and for strengthening the rule of law, transparency and accountability.
