LDK concludes campaign in Pristina with call for victory on February 9

The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) concluded its election campaign tonight in "Skënderbeu" Square in Pristina, calling on citizens to come out and vote on election day for this party's victory.

Prime Ministerial candidate Lumir Abdixhiku has expressed confidence in the victory of the party he leads.

"In the square where the history of Kosovo will mark another date when it was clearly understood that LDK has risen again. The date when we say that all of Kosovo is LDK. Tonight we mark a defining moment in the history of our people. Seeing you in such large numbers, I say with full conviction that we are heading for victory. We will look with pride on this February 8th and they will understand that our victory was sealed. We are coming together under two shadows, on one side of the statue of Ibrahim Rugova, and on the other side of Skanderbeg, together we are inseparable and unstoppable. We have gathered around the dream of change instead of the call for division," he said.

Abdixhiku did not fail to criticize the Kurti government in his speech, saying that he "feels sorry for those who incite hatred."

"I will not raise your children in peace with life and health. A state that treats your children with honor and dignity so that they can work, dream and grow old here in Kosovo. For four years they have been tired of dry words and propaganda. No, life in Kosovo is not better than in Germany, no, we are far away. The call for change comes to us as a cry of pensioners, families who today pay expensive bills, a salary that barely makes ends meet. We had no venom for the other, we are few to be divided and divided, we have enough external opponents - for the instigators of hatred I feel only pity", he emphasized.

Lumir Abdixhiku once again mentioned the promises he will fulfill with the arrival of LDK in government.

"Salaries will increase in the first week, we are one day away, one week away from the salary increase. We have a general for all those in need and recovery, who have to wander around countries abroad, not having the conditions in Kosovo, that's why we have the new hospital. From birth to kindergartens to schools with all-day classes. Services in Europe, people in Kosovo. We must also have responsibility for pensioners, athletes, artists with new cultural buildings, farmers and workers, innovators and entrepreneurs for businesses that for four years have seen this building behind you as a building of fear. A full 5 billion euros that transform Kosovo into a new state in the region. Let's send our country to the great Euro-Atlantic family, because a house is not complete without friends", said Abdixhiku.

Abdixhiku said that tomorrow "the political war will end with the victory of the LDK."
