The secret voting process in the Assembly of the Democratic League of Kosovo has been completed.

All delegates present in the Assembly voted secretly to offer Lumir Abdixhiku's resignation.

Telegraf's sources indicate that around 55% of delegates voted in favor of the current LDK leader, Lumir Abdixhiku, rejecting his resignation.

Of the 300 delegates participating, 164 voted against his resignation, and 136 in favor.

LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku, after the announcement of the results, asked the delegates present to unite to rebuild this party.

He said, among other things, "in this there are neither losers nor winners."

He thanked the delegates who, through a secret ballot, voted 164 against his resignation.

Otherwise, Abdixhiku has offered his resignation to the party's Assembly following the results recorded in the early parliamentary elections of December 28.

In this electoral process, the LDK won 13.24 percent of the vote - the second worst result since the post-war period.

But some party figures have demanded his irrevocable resignation, disagreeing with a vote of confidence.

Among them are Hykmete Bajrami, Avdullah Hoti, Arben Gashi, etc. /Telegrafi/
