Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) MP Alban Zogaj said in a press conference that the LDK parliamentary group will not vote for any kind of government and that the country is heading towards new elections.

Zogaj stressed that so far there has been no contact from the second-in-command regarding the formation of the Government.

"We have no information that any of the members of our group have been contacted about forming a government. We are seeing the same approach as the first mandate holder, he had no interest in creating institutions, the second mandate holder is behaving the same way," he said.

According to him, the political process is being dragged out for no reason and will end with a "political show".

"We will go until the last day, there will be a political show, there will be no votes, and then we will set the election date," said Zogaj.

The LDK MP said that the election deadlines are clearly defined by the Constitution and that the elections are expected to be held at the end of December.

"Election deadlines are constitutional deadlines. They also determine the date of the elections, which is likely to be the end of December," he said.

However, Zogaj stressed that the date of December 28 is not suitable due to the end-of-year holidays.

"December 28 is not a good date for elections, because it is the end-of-year holidays. We are having a hard time organizing the elections. It is not an ideal date, but if the constitutional deadlines require it, LDK is ready for elections," he declared.

Zogaj stressed that LDK is satisfied with the electoral results achieved in the local elections.

"We are happy with the election result, it leaves us with a winning party in many aspects. We have won Pristina," he said.

Finally, Zogaj added that the only solution to the political impasse in which the country finds itself is elections.

"The only solution to this political impasse that LVV has put us in is elections, and as soon as possible," concluded Zogaj. /Telegraph/
