Kurti hosted a meeting with students benefiting from scholarship schemes

The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, and the Acting Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi, received today at the Government students beneficiaries of various scholarship schemes, including scholarships for studies abroad at the Bachelor, Master and Doctorate levels, as well as beneficiaries of community scholarships.
According to a media release, during the meeting, Kurti congratulated the students on their success and underlined the importance of supporting young people who aim to study at the most prestigious international institutions.
"He emphasized that investing in quality education remains one of the Government's main priorities, expressing confidence that these young people will be important contributors to the professional and social development of the country after completing their studies," the announcement states.
Meanwhile, Minister Nagavci praised the commitment and dedication of the scholarship winners, emphasizing that support schemes for students represent a direct investment in Kosovo's human capital.
"Furthermore, he recalled that over the last five years, MESTI has significantly expanded scholarship schemes, both for students within the country and for those studying abroad, and emphasized the commitment to continue working towards increasing the quality of education and expanding opportunities for students."
The beneficiary students expressed their gratitude for the support provided and appreciated the opportunity to pursue their studies at universities within and outside the country. They emphasized that they will put the knowledge they have acquired to the service of Kosovo's advancement.
The Government of Kosovo and MESTI reaffirmed their commitment to continue supporting policies that enable the country's youth to benefit from quality education in the country and abroad, as well as to contribute to the further development of the state. /Telegraph/
