Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said that starting next month the minimum wage will be 425 euros gross, up from 350 euros currently.

Kurti announced this through a post on the social network Facebook, where, among other things, he wrote that from July 1, the implementation of the second phase begins, where the minimum wage becomes 500 euros.

Kurti said that around 150 private sector workers will benefit from this increase.

"We found the minimum wage at 130/170 euros, unchanged for more than a decade, and within one mandate we are increasing it for the third time," Kurti wrote. /Telegraph/
