The LVV candidate for prime minister, Albin Kurti, stayed in Peja, where, at a gathering with citizens, he reconfirmed their support for the VETËVENDOSJE! Movement.

He emphasized that the Kurti Government's commitment to the municipality of Peja has not been lacking, listing projects in progress such as the construction of the National Judo Center, the Stadium, the central heating project, the Dukagjin road connecting Prizren, Rahovec, Gjakova and Deçan with Peja and Istog, as well as the Peja-Kuçishte road, alongside the rehabilitation of regional roads.

Proof of the Government's continuous attention to the city of Peja are also the commitments of the next mandate, said Kurti.

He listed the main priorities as: solving the problems of sewage and water treatment, opening five nurseries in Baran, Raushiq, Leshan, Nabergjan and Novosello, as well as supporting the Business Incubator at "Haxhi Zeka" University.

He further said that strengthening ties between the university, entrepreneurs and the private sector, as well as prioritizing ICT, tourism and digital services, aims to transform Peja into a center of innovation in the region.
