From November 24-30, the tenth edition of the "World Italian Cuisine Week" is being held in Kosovo with the theme "Italian Cuisine between Health, Culture and Innovation".

This annual activity is organized by the Embassy of Italy in Pristina in cooperation with the ICE Agency in Tirana, also competent for Kosovo.

The aim of this edition is to highlight the many ways in which you can approach Italian cuisine, as a mosaic of knowledge and values, focusing on its role as a model of healthy, balanced and sustainable nutrition, as well as the aspects of innovation and research that characterize it.

The Italian Embassy in Kosovo has as a special guest this edition the executive chef of a restaurant in Milan, Emin Haziri, recently honored with his first Michelin star.

Haziri, thanks to his touching story, arrived in Italy at the age of seven with his family on foot, leaving Kosovo during the war, and represents the symbol of the beauty of the relations between Italy and Kosovo.

On this occasion, Chef Haziri has prepared an exclusive menu for SCIM25 for the gala dinner organized by the Italian Embassy in Pristina, where among the guests were the acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama. The Italian Ambassador to Kosovo, Maurizio Antonini, was also seen there.

During the dinner, guests had the opportunity to taste Italian wines professionally selected and paired with each dish on the menu by the Italian Sommeliers' Association Club Albania thanks to the support of the ICE Agency in Tirana.

We remind you that, as part of the Italian Cuisine Week, the event "Taste the future: HoReCa & Slow food connections" was held today in Pristina, which aims to train young people and create employment opportunities in tourism and hospitality.

Italian Cuisine Week concludes on November 28 with a cooking show open to the public at the Albi Mall shopping center.
