The leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, held a press conference regarding the party's results in the 2025 Local Elections.
Asked why LVV came third in the Municipal Assembly of Pristina, Although he is competing in the runoff with the LDK for mayor, Kurti said that competing separately with coalition partners, such as Lista Guxo and Alternativa, may have influenced this result.
"Regarding the next Municipal Assembly in Pristina, as our candidate and future mayor, Hajrulla Çeku, has said, there will be a big mess in the Pristina Municipal Assembly," Kurti declared.
"So, the Pristina municipal assembly has never been as diversified as it will be from this fall onwards," he added.
He also emphasized: "But what may have affected the capital is that we competed separately with coalition partners such as Lista Guxo and Alternativa."
"And this is possible that this competition may have influenced this separately and had such a prize, so it should only be taken as a conclusion," Kurti concluded.
It is worth noting that the runoff for municipalities that failed to produce a winner in the first round, including Pristina, will be held on November 9, 2025. /Telegraph/
