Former PDK leader Memli Krasniqi has called for broad citizen participation in the nationwide protest to be held on December 13, at 13:00 PM, at Skanderbeg Square in Skopje, in defense of the leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army who are being tried in The Hague.

In a Facebook post, Krasniqi said that after Pristina and Tirana, Skopje will be the next center where Albanians will raise their voices for justice.

"After Pristina and Tirana, this Saturday, the echo for justice of Albanians will rise strongly in Skopje. On December 13, at 13:00 PM, in 'Skënderbeu' Square, voices from all lands will unite to defend the dignity, truth and just war of the KLA," he wrote.

Krasniqi described the protest as a common cause of Albanians wherever they live.

"A nationwide protest, a common cause. Justice and freedom for the liberators!" he added.

The protest is expected to gather participants from all Albanian regions, in a sign of support for former KLA leaders who are facing trials at the Specialist Chambers in The Hague.
