PDK Chairman Memli Krasniqi, after the session was adjourned, stated that this situation "is unprecedented."
He said that PDK will not vote for Albulena Haxhiu for parliamentary speaker.
"I invite them to change the candidate because she won't pass. They have 47 others," he said.
"This is truly an unprecedented situation and one that is unbecoming of an institution like the Parliament."
"The coalition has the right to propose the speaker of the assembly but not to impose it. Today, we are once again seeing that they are continuing to block the creation of the country's institutions," said Krasniqi.
