The draw for the 2026 World Cup, which will begin on June 11 and run until July 19, was held in Washington today (Friday).
Part of this draw for the first time is Kosovo, which has already learned its potential opponents in the event of qualification.
Kosovo's potential opponents if they qualify for the World Cup are:
Group D: USA, Paraguay, Australia and (Kosovo)
For the first time in history, the World Cup will have 48 participating teams (up from 32 previously) and will be organized simultaneously in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
The matches that will determine the final six qualified teams will take place at the end of March 2026.
We remind you that Kosovo will play in Bratislava against Slovakia in the play-offs, where they will aim to reach the grand final, which would eventually be played at the "Fadil Vokrri" stadium against Turkey or Romania.Telegrafi/
