In Prizren, in the premises of the House of Culture, an activity was held within the framework of Partnership Project of Chambers and Associations Albania & Kosovo, with the support of the Koblenz Chamber of Crafts, marking an important step in strengthening cross-border cooperation in the field of crafts. The project is based on the cooperation between the National Chamber of Crafts in Albania and the Chamber of Prizren, with the aim of strengthening the craft sectors in both countries.

The Koblenz Chamber of Crafts has been active in the Western Balkans and internationally for years, supporting craftsmen, small and medium-sized businesses and dual vocational education. The project in Albania and Kosovo aims to strengthen crafts as a cultural heritage and as an important pillar of economic and social development, while also paying attention to improving the image and raising awareness of their impact on the economy and employment.

The event was dedicated to the textile sector, an area with high development potential. Initiatives have been taken in Albania to revitalize this sector through meetings with artisans and textile representatives, accompanied by a needs analysis and the preparation of a study for sustainable development measures.

In the same spirit, the activity in Kosovo served as a first and significant meeting, with a focus on improving the image of crafts and creating a joint dialogue platform between Albania and Kosovo to discuss challenges, perspectives and opportunities for cooperation in the textile sector.

The project's motto, "Crafting a Better Future", reflects the vision of strengthening crafts through investment in skills and cross-border cooperation, with the aim of a more sustainable development of local communities.

The program included a panel discussion with artisans and representatives of chambers and vocational education institutions, creating a space for the exchange of experiences and concrete ideas. The activity concluded with an exhibition of works and a fashion show that combined tradition with innovation.
